Write for us
Silver Cricket Review welcomes pitches that help curious readers understand cricket more clearly. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to judge the idea without asking you to write the whole piece first.
What we are looking for
We are interested in clear explainers, thoughtful comparisons, cricket history and pieces about how to follow a match or understand its language. Strong ideas have a defined reader question, a useful angle and a subject that will remain relevant beyond a single result or news cycle.
A useful pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the main point you want readers to leave with, why it merits an article and how you would handle its scope. Note any specialist claims that need careful sourcing and any material connection relevant to the piece. We value plain, precise prose over jargon and do not need a finished draft with an initial proposal.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the editorial option. Please include a way to reply and a concise outline. A submission is a proposal, not a promise of publication; we will consider whether it fits the publication and its readers.
Understanding makes room for enjoyment
Cricket can be followed one question at a time. We explain its patterns without turning every match into homework.
